Aleksi Uusi-Jaakola made it two-for-two in the 2015 iRacing World Championship Grand Prix Series on Saturday, leading 62 of 65 laps at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit en route to a 4.9s victory over Team Redline running mate Greger Huttu. Coanda Simsport’s Hugo Luis completed the podium, finishing 3.6s adrift of Huttu at the checkered flag. Mitchell deJong, Martin Krönke and Enzo Bonito rounded-out the top six finishers at the virtual Australian circuit in a sim race that saw Huttu set fastest lap (1:06.363).

Humpe (58) was dealt a winning hand in Vegas. Kenny Humpe went to victory lane last night at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, his first win of the 2015 NASCAR PEAK Antifreeze Series Powered by iRacing. However, the win was not without controversy as Humpe made contact with Nick Ottinger while battling for the lead with just six laps remaining in the 167 lap event

Aleksi Uusi-Jaakkola scored a convincing win in his Team Redline debut. The iRacing.com World Championship Grand Prix Series offseason saw some big moves up and down the field, but the most interesting were perhaps at the ‘Big Two’ teams, where Coanda Simsport and Team Redline added new talent to their ranks. Coanda’s big recruits included the 2014 Pro Series Champion Mitchell DeJong along with Rocco Barone, whereas Team Redline added the dynamic Finnish duo of Aleksi Uusi-Jaakkola and Olli Pahkala to its roster

Alfalla (2) heads to victory at Daytona as Laughlin (51) heads to the wall. Ray Alfalla, two-time champion of the NASCAR PEAK Antifreeze Series Powered by iRacing, kicked-off the 2015 season with a victory at Daytona International Speedway. Alfalla, who started thirty-fourth, came out on top after contact with Tyler Laughlin as the two battled for the lead with three laps to go.

With two wins in two outings for the new Coanda SimSport team, Krönke has put some suspense back in the 2014 iRacing World Championship GP Series. As August morphed into September, the only thing that appeared more certain than Greger Huttu claiming a fourth iRacing World Championship Grand Prix Series title was the impending the arrival of the autumnal equinox.
